Rob & Barb De Luca,

came to Vail in 1977 with the idea of creating a store dedicated to unique and original designs in fine jewelry. This concept successfully catapulted the business into a very well known fine jewelry establishment, frequented by many visitors from around the world.

By 1980 both Rob and Barb found their individual specialties within Currents. For Barb it utilized her background in art design which evolved into pieces being designed from conception to illustration and finally into the the three dimentional wax models. From these beginnings evolved the "B. De Luca" line sold exclusively at Currents. For Rob it meant capitalizing on his background in creating collections in primitive art for exclusive clients by transfering his focus to his other love, fine timepieces. He has helped many people build and fine tune their watch collections by acquiring unique and rare watches from Europe.

The store has become a divine place for visitors to check out all of the lates jewelry and watch trends.
